Dennis is a licensed Insurance Advisor who has been in the industry since 2013 and is licensed through the Louisiana Department of Insurance for Life, Health & Accident Insurance. After receiving his insurance license he went to work for several small insurance agencies until he was hired by Insurance Advisors, LLC. His insurance certifications include: Individual Marketplace, SHOP Marketplace, and Medicare Advantage Plans.
His grandfather Antonio Vallejo established one of the first insurance broker agencies in Honduras, Central America. His father Dennis Omar Vallejo continued the tradition by establishing his own brokerage insurance agency named D. Vallejo and Associates, in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. It was there that a young Dennis gained his first taste for insurance and decided to leave home to study Risk Management and Insurance at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in 2013 with a concentration in Risk Management. Combining skills instilled by his father and strong professional ethics, he aims to acquire the best insurance plans for individuals and businesses. He is fluent in Spanish and English and looks forward to selling insurance to Louisiana's Spanish population. He lives in Lafayette, LA with his wife Alexandra Drouant, their cat Winter-fell and dog Lily.
